Flyargo Sp z o.o., using its recently acquired privileges of becoming one of the approving entities in the register maintaned by President of Civil Aviation Authority in Poland, in the category of ultralight gyroplanes, completed a next major step in development of Rotax 915-powered product.
Acting in accordance with aviation law regulations in Poland, our company decided to cooperate with a specialized entity – Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation, the leading R&D aviation facility in our country. Flyargo contracted the Institute to run our in-house developed engine mount dedicated for Rotax 915 through a series of static load tests based on BUT regulations requirements, including limit loads in emergency situations.
The tests were completed in mid-April with successful results. We have received the test report and thus we are pleased to become the first company to offer properly verified Rotax 915 engine mount to be installed on ever-evolving family of Xenon gyroplanes.
At the same time, our company has been pushing to make sure that its manufacturing and maintenance personnel is familiar with Rotax-recommended standards and practices related to its newest powerplant operation. In cooperation with instructors from Faston Sp. z o.o. – the exclusive dealer of Rotax aviation products in Poland and Baltic states, our mechanics completed this March a dedicated special training related to installation and systems of Rotax 915 iS engine. This will be followed by next trainings to ensure continuous maintenance of Flyargo personnel qualifications.
